Fan Cooling Double Wall Corrugated Pipe Extrusion Line

corrugated pipe extrusion machine can produce 9mm to 1200mm OD/ID corrugated pipe, which are widely used as cable protect cover, medical transfer pipe(small size corrugated pipe); gas transfer, water transfer (big size corrugated pipe) etc.

corrugated pipe machine consists of:

1. extruder
according to different material, could be use conical double screw extruder for PVC material, single screw extruder for PE/PP material.

also extruder model choose according to pipe size & mould design. for example, PE 9mm to 25mm corrugated pipe, choose SJ65/30 single screw extruder for high speed design, or SJ55/30 single screw extruder for normal speed design.

And extruder QTY choose according to pipe design, single wall corrugated pipe use one extruder, double wall corrugated pipe need 2 sets extruder. such as PE 160mm single wall corrugated pipe production machine choose SJ75/33 single screw extruder, double wall type need choose SJ75/33 single screw extruder + SJ65/33 single screw extruder. as well as SJZ45/90 conical double screw extruder for small PVC single wall corrugated pipe extrusion.

according to client requirements, our extruder could be manufacture control by SIEMENS PLC, with SMATAC HMI.

2, pipe extrusion die + corrugated pipe forming die
pipe extrusion die have the same function like normal solid wall pipe dies, making the metled plasitc into round shape, just wall thickness more more more thinner than solid wall pipe.
But it has difference, because wall thickness very thin, so it will be blow with air when going into forming die, in case very bad shapping and sizing. this is difficult control part, but piece of cake for our experienced engineer.

corrugated pipe forming die usually made of aluminum/aluminum-alloy, according to pipe size & forming machine type, it has different design for setting on forming machine, also different cooling type according to line speed design. normal speed production speed, fan cooling, high speed production speed, water cooling.

Our designed forming die can be making on-line belling, which is more efficent for pipe connection.

3, forming machine
forming machine used to setting the forming die, and making the forming die continously working.

4, cutting machine + stacker or winding machine
usually for small size(9mm to 110mm) corrugated pipe equip with winding machine, single disc winder, double disc winder, both are ok. for high speed suggest double disc widner.
also like 75mm, 90mm, 110mm pipe couble be cutted in short length, such as 9m, 6m etc. then need quip with cutting machine + stacker, becasue cutting frequency more more higher than winding type.
